Immersive
Guidance
Dozens of immersive tools have been developed over time, often independently. We have brought them together into a single touchpoint, 3D virtual spaces, virtual tours, generative AI, and augmented reality, to transform four separate experiences into one unified orientation journey.
The context
Lots of valuable immersive experiences, but nowhere to find them. A national public body responsible for education has already developed two comprehensive immersive programmes, structured into fifteen virtual environments and enhanced with generative AI and augmented reality. These programmes are dedicated to providing guidance for upper secondary education and vocational tertiary pathways. In addition to these, there are numerous experiences developed independently by technology institutes and foundations.
Although significant, this collection of resources is fragmented: there is no single point of access, and the differences between platforms, devices, controls, visual styles, materials, content, and interactions make transitioning between experiences clunky. This creates discontinuities in the student experience and results in information that isn’t always consistent.
Our goal: to transform a collection of isolated experiences into a navigable ecosystem, with a single entry point and a shared standard of technical and stylistic quality.
The solution
The solution is an immersive institutional aggregator that doesn’t replace existing experiences, but rather brings them together and makes them accessible through a single entry point. It can be used on PCs, smartphones, tablets, and headsets, with no installation required. The pathway includes an orientation hub, rooms dedicated to secondary schools and technical and vocational institutes, a parallel environment for vocational tertiary courses, mini-labs, interactive 3D models, and a digital human based on generative AI, which is also available in augmented reality via a QR code.
External experiences are integrated according to their nature: photorealistic tours can be viewed directly within the environment via iframes, while institutions’ metaverses are accessible through a search portal that opens dedicated sessions, requiring no technological changes. The integration works both ways, as each participating experience includes a portal that takes you back to the institution’s environment. Shared staging areas and toolkits reduce visual and operational discontinuities, enabling new institutions to join according to common standards.

From isolated experiences to an ecosystem. Isolated immersive experiences have been transformed into a recognisable, unified ecosystem. Thanks to a single access point, students can move through virtual environments with greater continuity, while the staging area and shared toolkit reduce visual and operational differences between environments developed by different parties.
For institutions, the main benefit is that it enhances the value of existing investments: experiences created for local initiatives can reach a national audience without needing to be redesigned. The system also increases the visibility of technical and vocational pathways and remains easily scalable, as any new institution can join using a common standard without needing to modify the central architecture.
The value lay not in creating yet another experience, but in providing a common gateway to those that already existed.
