Objective: Servizi Speciali, in collaboration with the I.I.S Antonello Messina Hotel Management Institute, has chosen Meta Presence® to develop a cutting-edge training project. The objective is to evolve and enrich the institute's educational offerings and respond innovatively to the needs of teachers and students. The tourism sector requires continuous training to enhance the skills of industry professionals and provide high-quality service. Meta Presence® addresses these needs through the immersiveness and interactivity that characterize the virtual world, perfectly integrating theory and practice to provide comprehensive preparation for students.
Description: For this project, a virtual environment has been created that details the main areas of a hotel facility. The use of immersive headsets and the capabilities of Digital Twins ensure direct interaction with virtual replicas of specific hotel industry equipment and tools, allowing students to concretely apply the activities outlined in their study program, practicing until they perfect their skills and abilities.
This hands-on approach improves understanding and retention of the procedures necessary to perform the required tasks under teacher supervision. Not only real-time activities but also autonomous ones: students can access interactive review rooms at any time to revisit certain steps or specific topics.
With Meta Presence®, it is possible to simulate real working scenarios, enabling students to develop practical skills and be ready to face actual working situations through room service activities, mise en place testing, or simulation of teamworking dynamics, essential in the hotel industry. The training is further enhanced by Meta Presence Analytics, an analysis dashboard that the platform provides to trainers to monitor student progress through immediate feedback and essential data to constantly personalize and improve the training path.
