Frequently asked

questions

Techstar Education is designed for secondary schools, ITS Academies, universities and training institutions. The platform can be used to integrate immersive activities into educational courses, workshops, guidance initiatives and specialist training programmes.

Techstar Education allows you to create interactive lessons, virtual labs, simulations, collaborative activities, guided tours and orientation courses. The experiences can be included in the teaching programme as a supplement to traditional lessons or as independent learning activities.

Immersive teaching allows students to learn through experience, exploring three-dimensional environments and participating in simulations that are difficult to carry out in the classroom. It can make complex procedures and contexts more understandable, allow exercises to be repeated and encourage collaboration between participants, even remotely.

The platform encourages an experiential and participatory approach. Students can explore three-dimensional environments, apply theoretical knowledge, simulate procedures and deal with situations that are difficult to reproduce in the classroom, developing skills through interaction and practice.

Yes. The launch can include onboarding activities for teachers, project managers, and technical contacts, providing guidance on access, session management, and the use of available tools.

Yes. Environments, content, scenarios, and interaction modes can be configured according to the subject, the learning objectives, the students’ level, and the activity’s duration. When needed, Techstar can also create specific 3D environments and assets for the educational project.

Yes. The platform can recreate procedures, processes, places, and situations that are complex, costly, or risky to tackle in a real-world environment. Simulations are designed based on the skills that students need to acquire, apply, or test during their training.

Yes. Techstar Education supports shared experiences in which multiple students can participate, interact and collaborate within the same virtual environment. This mode can be used for group activities, exercises, simulations and teacher-led discussions.

The platform provides analytics relating to student participation and interactions during activities. Through dedicated dashboards, teachers and managers can monitor the progress of the experiences and obtain useful information to assess the level of engagement and the progress of the training course.

Techstar Education provides cloud or on-premises configurations, depending on the institution’s infrastructure needs and security policies. Data processing is defined in relation to the project configuration, the categories of users and the features used. Techstar supports the institution in defining access methods and managing data in accordance with applicable legislation, including the European General Data Protection Regulation.

Timelines vary depending on the project scope and the level of customisation required. Launching an experience that is already available, or one based on existing components, mainly involves configuration and onboarding tasks. Developing a 3D environment or a custom simulation, on the other hand, involves phases of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Once the requirements have been gathered, an estimate of the tasks and time required is drawn up.
